More Fun With Grandma

So, I am a bit behind on the blog and need to catch up before Miss M's big 5th Birthday tomorrow! My goal was to catch up tonight before the birthday festivities begin tomorrow. I left off with Grandma and her visit. We were busy, but mostly stayed with our normal routine except the adventure to Disneyland and spending the night at one of the park hotels. Grandma was able to visit Miss M's ballet class on Monday and meet one of her favorite little friends. On Tuesday we ventured out to Disney and stayed the entire day, of course, leaving right after the electrical parade. The kids, and Grandma and I, were pretty wiped after that so we relaxed on Wednesday morning. In the afternoon, we headed back out to Disneyland to do the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique with Miss M and spend the night at the hotel. Miss M was pretty shy at the boutique and she was not crazy about the fake hair, but once she left the boutique in her Cinderella dress, she started loving the outfit. We spent the night at the Ambassador Hotel and returned just in time to see the Disneyland fireworks from our hotel room. After a not so good night of sleep, we ate breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy. Miss M loved the character meet time, but the K Man could have done without the large fuzzy characters invading his personal space. We returned home and rested some more before a church fall party for the kids on Thursday night. Friday we had planned to take Grandma to Yokohama for the Anpanman museum, but the weather was bad and the K Man was getting a bad cold, so we stayed inside and played games and relaxed. As you can tell from the pictures, we had a great visit with Grandma. The kids really enjoyed playing with her and it was fun to show her our lives here in Tokyo and what we do on a day to day basis.
