One night we drove to a different part of the island for dinner and found a beautiful beach with not so mucky water for Miyako to play in. The hotel we ate at had wonderful Malaysian food - so good, that we went back the next night to eat and let Miyako swim in the ocean. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous from this hotel. Our table sat on the beach. It was lovely. We both really enjoyed the Malaysian food. It was a bit spicy but very delicious.
