Silver Week

In September we had a three day holiday called Silver Week. It turns out that these three holidays will not be together again until 2026. On Monday we ventured outside the city to the Narita area to a place called Boso no Mura, an old village set to look like the Edo period. I'll post a separate entry about that once we download the pictures from our large camera. On Tuesday and Wednesday we stayed local and enjoyed riding bikes, picnics, and trying to find out the name of this fabulous tree that puts out a citrus smell for about 2-3 weeks in early fall. It was a restful holiday at home, playing games together, movie nights, and simply relaxing. The husband and I even got to go out to dinner at a brewery and enjoyed the fall beer. Below are some pictures of our fall family fun during Silver Week.
