Meet Ben-Kun

So our kids would love a dog but living in a 90 square meter apartment on the 48th floor means no dog. Seriously who wants to take a dog down an elevator in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom? So, what is the next best thing to having your own dog...befriending a widowed elderly lady in your building with a dog. Meet Ben-kun and his mama. We love them! The kids love to take him on a walk and they have grown fond of visiting him. Often they will take Ben's owner some treats or pictures, and come back a hour later after a little party with juice and chocolate. She even did a craft with miss M for several hours one day, painting a bear stencil on a bag, as she used to be an art teacher. It has been a sweet relationship to see develop and I hope we have been able to encourage this lady a little bit.
