Girls Day/Hinamatsuri 3/3/2017

We celebrated Girls Day this year with a trip to an Ethiopian Restaurant that had just opened in our little town. I was wanting to try it and thought the kids would have fun eating with their hands. It was a lot of fun and we followed it up with a trip to the Frozen yogurt shop afterwards. I hope we can keep honoring Japanese traditions like this even in America.
